KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Understand complex business processes (e.g. ETO), associated challenges; and how to leverage Technology/Automation to solve them

·       Architect first-time product features for ETO / Customer / Commercial Projects business model(s) - long lead time part planning and early supply chain visibility, Configurable manufacturing bill of material for varying supply chain parameters, Special customer product requirements (non FFF) management without additional part numbers

·       Define EBOM, MBOM, Install BOM, Service BOM governing product/system architecture

·       Captures and requirements, Study of existing PLM environment, Gap Analysis, Solution Design

·       Reviewing individual projects' functional specifications, Develop technical design specifications (TDD)

·       Iterate core business process model changes and analyzing the impact across PLMERP/CPQ systems

·       Create architectural artifacts for various projects under PLM modernization initiatives

·       Support consolidation and transformation of PLM landscape to deliver GDM strategy

·        Support integration with other enterprise applications like ERP, MES, CRM, ALM, Project Management etc. by using common or new integration patterns for digital continuity

·       Validate proposed Future State Architecture using Proofs-of-Concepts and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) approaches

·       Support the development of Proof of Concepts and Industry Solutions

·       Ability to adapt or handle shifting priorities in a fast paced and changing environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of experience as Solution Architect, should have architected at least one large or two small to medium Teamcenter solution, which included Part & BOM Management (CAD BOM, EBOM, MBOM), Option & Variant management, Release & Change Management, Document Management, Active Workspace (AWC), Integrations (CAD- NX & Mentor Graphics, ERP- SAP and other enterprise applications), Migration from legacy system to Teamcenter
• Understanding ETO / Customer / Commercial Projects business processes
• Understanding of Manufacturing concepts such Manufacturing Bill of Materials, Bill of Process, Bill of Equipment, Work Instructions, etc.
• The preferred verticals are Aerospace, Transportation, Building Solutions, and Industrial
• Education – A bachelor’s degree in engineering is essential. A master’s degree in management (MS/MBA or equivalent) will be a plus.
• Experience in the implementation of large PLM (Teamcenter) deployments and managing diverse global teams.
