Detailed Description: The IT PMO Analyst - Vendor Management will assume the role of a financial optimizer for Celestica’s Global Information Technology organization. The successful candidate will join a team responsible for assisting the IT leadership team to drive vendor innovation. Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Procurement Support Liaise with external suppliers and internal customers/stakeholders Support the procurement process for purchasing hardware, software, and services, following set procedures with guidance from IT Management Partner with Procurement Team to identify contracts coming up for annual renewals, as well as contracts that are soon to be end of life and report the status of those contracts to IT Management Support any IT vendor software audits to help with the reconciliation between the deployment of software licenses versus the contract’s stated entitlements Technology Management Develop and maintain a technology Item Master list to support more reporting Review / Investigate payment of invoices in a timely manner Assist the management team to drive vendor innovation IT Administration Monthly review of CCNs (Contract Change Notices) raised with Celestica’s IT Service Partners, as well as review cloud consumption data vs the invoices to identify and correct mismatches to avoid incorrect payments. Assist with the preparation of project related communications and training materials Maintain logs and other records for analysis IT Financial Operations Partner with Finance to oversee project accounting, budgeting and cost control process and to ensure accurate IT chargeback mechanisms for customer enablement projects Work with Accounting to ensure accuracy of IT Operating and Capital budget Monthly budget reconciliation of OPEX and CAPEX Document processes and procedures for internal IT budget / financial management Manage project financial process for IT PMO (Project Management Office) including monitoring the projects actual versus budget amounts Provide timely and accurate periodic reporting such as actual performance versus planned / forecast expectations and prior period performance Manage financial and business approval processes Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase the value of investment Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: Understanding of procurement processes (buying and invoice payments) Knowledgeable about IT Commodities (Computer Hardware, Software, Cloud services) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Access) Strong analytical skills to present data in an innovative way to business leaders Ability to obtain insights from a large amount of data and provide recommendations based on interpretation of results Knowledge of general business processes (ex: project management, financial accounting, supplier management) Critical thinking on how to leverage existing resources and technology to bring value to the business Ability to manage complex situations and make decisions in a timely manner Time management and ability to prioritize and re-assess schedules and tasks quickly and effectively Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills Basic knowledge of Google Apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Meet, Chat) Basic knowledge of IT operational processes Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI would be considered an advantage
