What You'll Do


 

As a Lead ERP Architect, you will manage and deliver ERP projects across various industries and sectors. You will work closely with client stakeholders, BCG partners, Platinion experts, and project teams to plan, execute, and monitor the project activities, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction. You will also support business development, practice building, and thought leadership activities within the ERP/SCM domain.

  • Manage and deliver end-to-end ERP projects, from scoping and planning to execution and delivery.
  • Coordinate and supervise the project activities, such as requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, etc.
  • Manage the project resources, such as consultants, analysts, developers, testers, etc., ensuring optimal allocation, utilization, and performance.
  • Manage the project budget, timeline, scope, quality, risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders on the project objectives, status, progress, issues, and outcomes ·
  • Ensure alignment of the project deliverables with the client requirements, expectations, and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance of the project deliverables with the quality standards, best practices, and industry norms.
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise on ERP trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Support business development activities by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and presenting solutions to potential clients.
  • Contribute to practice building activities by developing knowledge assets, conducting trainings, and mentoring junior team members.
  • Engage in license commercial negotiations and suggest strategies to reduce costs and optimize overall Capex/Opex expenses.
  • Act as the central contact for key concerns and matters while partaking in ERP/SCM cycles.


 

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or computer science or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in ERP consulting or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in managing and delivering large-scale ERP projects.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing ERP solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday HCM, etc. 
  • Deep functional and technical knowledge of ERP modules such as PP/MM/SD/FICO/PM/PS in SAP S/4HANA or equivalent in other ERP solutions. 
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and practices, including data, application, infrastructure, digital, IoT, Industry 4.0, visualization, etc. 
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, issue resolution, stakeholder management, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills (analytical and creative), with the ability to generate innovative solutions.
  • Excellent leadership skills (collaborative and influential), with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Ability to travel extensively as required by client engagements · Adeptness in SCM – APS processes and tool capabilities on Demand, Supply, Inventory, and S&OP planning, integrated with ERP and other solutions. · Ability to articulate and document functional challenges and provide potential solution options. 
  • Industry expertise in at least one of the domains – Discrete (Auto/Industrial goods), Mill and Mining, Process (Oil and Gas/Pharma/Life Sciences), or Retail is compulsory.

WHAT YOU'LL DO In your role you will bridge enterprise architecture and engineering and will own the design and integration of multiple (Bespoke and SaaS) products and solutions within the Consulting Productivity Portfolio.
