As an IT Infrastructure Engineer at NVIDIA, you will be responsible for collecting technical requirements, proposing architecture design, and reviewing quotations/proposals from vendors/partners. You will work with partners/vendors to deploy infrastructure and provide operational support in an Agile environment. Your main focus will be building, deploying, and managing a global storage environment at scale. Additionally, you will create and maintain necessary operation and support documentation, continuously improve processes and standards, and travel to factory sites in APAC as required. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

What you will be doing:

Collect technical requirements, propose architecture design and review quotations / proposals from our vendors/partners, Work with our partners / vendors for deploying infrastructure and providing operational support in an Agile environment.

Build, Deploy & Manage a global storage environment at scale, be part of On-Call rotation.

Create and maintain necessary operation and support documentation (e.g. runbook / playbook / asset inventory system). Continuously improve processes and standards.

Travel to factory sites in APAC (around 20% ~ 30%) for as required.

Build Automation and monitoring solutions for effective utilization, uptime & deployment.

 

What we need to see:

BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of relevant experience, MS with 5+ years of experience or Ph.D. with 3 years of experience

Hands on experience with Design, deployment and management of Enterprise NAS solutions like NetApp

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience with Operating Enterprise storage environments at scale, build, automate and monitor tools in a Linux environment.
