Your Role:
Customer Reliability Engineering (CRE) Product & Service line (PSL) is a part of IM Infrastructure &
Platforms domain within Information Management for Airbus Group. CRE acts as the focal point and key
partner for Business & IM Applications teams to Advise, Design, Deliver & Operate best fit and innovative
IT solutions to host applications sustaining AIRBUS activities and enabling Digital transformation.
CRE PSL is a multidisciplinary team working in close relation with all the Infrastructure & Platforms PSLs
and have a pragmatic approach: We size the Solution and our Services to the customer’s needs ensuring
full alignment with AIRBUS and IM strategy and standards (security, data mgt, etc.).
The services provided by CRE PSL are:
1. Demand Management - For IM products including advisory boards for Hosting solutions
2. Complex Infrastructure Projects Lead and Support
3. IT Architecture Services
4. IT Technology Expertise through a CoC(Centre of Competence) for OS, Web, DB & Storage.
5. E2E Infrastructure Integration and Operation for applications
This open position is for an Infrastructure specialist in Operating Systems (OS), Database
Technology(DB) positioned within the Centre of Competence (CoC).

1. Engineering graduate with 7-10 years of experience in Infrastructure hosting with technical &
hands-on knowledge on OS (RHEL, RHNS puppet, Windows Server, SCCM, MDT) and Database
(SQL Server)
2. Airbus related experience, preferably on IT or IT infrastructure would be an advantage
3. Working knowledge on storage (NAS/SAN), security, encryption, Hybrid infrastructure concepts
(eg - Container technology) would be an added advantage
4. Hands-on experience of component development and configuration management with ALICS for
RHEL and MyDT for Windows Server

5. Experience in complex problem analysis on core technologies and infrastructure backbone with
ability to diagnose, formalize and resolve technical issues
6. Self Driven & proactive Way of Working. Experienced in collaborating with internal and external
stakeholders, adaptation and learning
7. Autonomy with excellent communication skills to work in a multi-functional and distributed team
8. Awareness on Agile/Scrum/SAFe methods followed in software development would be an
advantage
9. Advanced spoken and written English is a must. French knowledge would be an advantage.
10. CET timezone flexibility

Responsibilities:
● Conduct architecture improvement study, market analysis, evaluation of new version/product
taken into account all existing Airbus environment constraints
● Conduct complex analysis and provide expertise report including impact analysis on the Airbus
ecosystem
● Implement solutions and update related documentation
● Implement evolution of new version/product with related test and documentation (PIF, SIF,
GitHub, Confluence, etc)
● Analyse and validate technical documentation in compliance with Airbus ecosystem and security
rules
● Apply, identify and capitalize on best practices
● Manage/interact with ESP(suppliers) on a daily basis to ensure right service is provided
● Raise and maintain the awareness and knowledge of AIRBUS Hosting ecosystem
● Prepare for Quick PoC (Proof of Concepts)
● Master existing Airbus IM Infrastructure Landscape and IT systems to function Autonomously.
● Perform technical onboarding on new team members, as applicable.
● Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
● Excellent communication skills to work in a globally distributed team
