Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective meetings to ensure efficient execution of Agile processes.
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Coach the development team and Product Owner on Agile and Scrum principles, helping them understand and adhere to Agile practices, roles, and responsibilities.
• Identify and resolve impediments that hinder the development team's progress. This may involve interfacing with external teams or stakeholders to remove dependencies.
• Collect and analyze Agile metrics and provide insights to the team on areas of improvement. Create and maintain burn-down charts, velocity reports, and other Agile artifacts.
• Encourage the team to inspect and adapt their processes continually. Facilitate retrospectives and help the team implement improvements.
• Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
• Stay up-to-date with Agile and Scrum best practices, emerging trends, and industry standards, and apply this knowledge to enhance team performance.
• Track and report on team performance using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.)

Requirements:

• Engineering degree in a relevant field (MBA is a plus).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other relevant Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Professional, SAFe Scrum Master).
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Agile project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a Scrum Master or similar Agile role is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus.
