Overview of Job Function:

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Solution-Level Product Management leader to join our organization as we expand our portfolio to include a Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) offering. This role will serve as an overlay across multiple product teams, collaborating with them to develop a comprehensive CCaaS solution that meets the evolving needs of our customers. As the Solution-Level Product Manager, you will be responsible for understanding the competitive landscape, trends, and customer use cases and shaping the market requirements for delivering a cohesive, competitive, and successful solution offering. Reporting to the VP of Product Management, this senior leadership position requires exceptional strategic thinking, a passion for user experience, product management expertise, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

1. CCaaS Strategy and Roadmap Development:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the CCaaS market, including competitive offerings, emerging trends, and customer requirements.
  • Define and articulate the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for our CCaaS solution, aligning it with the company's overall product strategy and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product teams, including other product line managers, UX design, engineering, support, and go-to-market to drive the successful execution of the CCaaS roadmap.

 2. Market and Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify and assess the competitive landscape, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
  • Analyze competitor products, offerings, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies to identify areas of differentiation and competitive advantage.
  • Leverage market insights to develop market requirements and ensure the CCaaS solution is aligned with customer needs and market trends.

 3. Product Differentiation and Positioning:

  • Work closely with the product and design teams to define and execute product differentiation strategies, focusing on agent and supervisor experiences, analytics, management, and tools.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop compelling messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies that effectively communicate the unique value proposition of our CCaaS offering.
  • Provide guidance and support to the sales organization during customer engagements, ensuring a clear understanding of the CCaaS solution's benefits and differentiators.

 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as a key liaison between the product teams, ensuring effective coordination and alignment across multiple components of the CCaaS solution.
  • Work closely with the product, engineering, design, and UX teams to create conceptual models and frameworks to be used to streamline solution delivery and user experience.
  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to gather customer feedback, understand market dynamics, and continuously refine the CCaaS solution based on user insights.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional work experience
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in product management
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing complex software products or services to market, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Strong understanding of contact center operations, agent and supervisor experiences, and related tools
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience influencing, managing (directly or indirectly), and/or mentoring product management teams
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry, with a focus on contact center or customer experience solutions
