Job Purpose:
Establish the strategy to build long term relationship with the Key Accounts of Thermo Fisher's Laboratory Solutions.
Implements sustainable action plans to establish Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Brand among the Key Accounts that contribute to the high growth opportunities
Major Responsibilities:
Build strategy and execution model for YoY growth of the business on a short- and long-term basis.
Keep close personal contact to appropriate levels of Lab solutions key Accounts and Channel Partners, investigate their business needs and serve as main contact for entire organization
Based on profound knowledge of product lines, develop objectives to grow and expand business in the region
Competes for all existing and new sales opportunities within the country to meet or exceed targets
Gathers, analyzes and delivers information from the field to allow the company to develop strategies and products
Provide accurate forecast and lost order reporting through systems
Ensures that all vital resources needed are used efficiently and optimally in order to increase business
Co-ordinate all issues with key clients between sales, service, support, customer services, marketing and finance
Identify new areas of commercial growth for the existing products and make recommendations for future product development.
Collaborate with Service In charge to develop joint initiatives and provide appropriate customer care according to CAS measure.
Facilitate and executes vital seminars, meetings etc. with Key Decision makers of the account, along with respective divisions in India.
Qualifications / Education:
Bachelor's /Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biotechnology or equivalent
Master’s in business administration (preferable)
Substantial experience in Key Account Management and/or Distributor Management
Proven experience in sales of life science research/ scientific products / chemicals in relevant market sectors
Well organized individual with ability to establish short and long-term business objectives and have a demonstrable record of measuring performance toward those objectives
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, ability to work through networks, ability to lead business remotely and through Channel Partners
Ability to influence and work within a matrix organization
Min 6-8 years’ experience in people management and leadership roles
Frequent travel within the country is required (50% minimum)
