JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both backend and frontend applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers, to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand system architecture, design, and functionality to identify potential test scenarios.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and infrastructure for both backend and frontend testing.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of frontend and backend systems.
• Develop and execute load and stress testing scenarios to ensure system scalability and performance.
• Should have experience in application debugging for Frontend and backend.
• Identify and report software defects, track issues, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in code and design reviews to provide feedback on quality and testability aspects.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to software testing and test automation.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members to foster their growth and development.

Requirements:

• 6-9 years of work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong programming skills in Java language.
• Extensive experience in UI test automation using Selenium, Appium or similar and Rest Assured for backend.
• Experience in backend testing, including designing and executing test strategies for complex software systems.
• Good understanding of backend technologies such as databases (SQL and NoSQL), APIs, web services, and messaging systems.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker) for continuous integration and deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and the ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Attention to detail, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality software products.
• Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in test case management tools, and defect tracking systems like Jira.
• Exposure to cloud services like AWS, GCP, Azure.
