The resource management teams supports the organisation by ensuring the projects Finastra delivers to clients are correctly resourced in terms of number of people, skills, location and best cost fit. Through a cadence of regular touch points with Team Leads, Project Managers, and Territory Heads the RM ensures an early and ongoing line of sight of all resourcing needs in order to to meet capacity needs across products for full time employees and partner resources.
Objectives:
1.To ensure that open resource requirements are filled with the most suitable candidates while maximizing the utilization and billability of GS resources
2.To make certain that all processes are followed, and 3rd parties are selected in a fair and transparent manner
3.To engage and work with counterparts in other regions and the Global Delivery Center to extend the delivery capability beyond the local services team
4.To continuously endeavor to drive down project delivery costs by seeking to deploy low cost resources thereby improving the financial performance aligned to business goals whilst ensuring project success is not impacted negatively.

Responsibilities
Resource Management Lead
1.Monitor confirmed demand/resource requests and work with Project Managers and Team Leaders to review resourcing plans to deliver against project deliverables while leveraging the best available staffing from internal BU resources, Centers of Excellence and 3rd Parties
2.Conduct project reviews and provide recommendations to PMs and Delivery teams if resources can be better aligned in terms of seniority, location, partial billing etc. to increase utilization, improve margins, kick start new projects and replace 3rd Parties with internal resources if bench increases.
3.Proactively communicate and promote the availability of resources globally to encourage sharing of resources across regions and increase utilization
4.Conduct regular reviews with Project Manager, Team Leaders and Services Heads to plan resource assignments, review bookings, resolve conflicts and identify opportunities for resources
5.Gather performance information about subcontractors and communicate the feedback to them or to their payroll partners
6.Manages and maintains resource related data and ensures its alignment and accuracy across our resource management, HR and financial systems
7.Advise resources and Project Managers on on relocation policies and processes especially for overseas onsite deputation .
8.Provide inputs to Bid Management Review e.g. on work permit processing costs and challenge assumptions on resourcing levels, delivery model, T&Cs, 3rd Party costs etc.
