We are looking for a candidate with minimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications field. You should have a strong background in data communications and a clear understanding of technologies and systems used. Familiarity with MPLS, SDWAN, SDN, ATM/ADSL, PDH/SDH, Cisco Routers & Switches, MLPPP, Ethernet, configuring Cisco, Alcatel, Nokia, and Juniper Network devices is essential. Along with this, you should have a good understanding of TCP/IP protocols & services, Transmission fundamentals, MPLS VPN, QoS mechanisms, and network management applications. Knowledge of provisioning tools, network inventories, and multi-vendor router and firewall configuration is also required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the telecommunications field, demonstrating a strong background in data communications with a clear understanding of technologies and systems used, this should include some of the following: MPLS, SDWAN, SDN, ATM/ADSL, PDH/SDH, Cisco Routers & Switches, MLPPP, Ethernet, configuring Cisco, Alcatel, Nokia and Juniper Network devices.
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols & services (TCP/UDP, IPSec, MPLS, Internet, SNMP, DNS, Radius/TACACS+, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, L2/L3 VPN & Netflow) and Transmission fundamentals
  • Understanding of MPLS VPN fundamentals and their application within a Service Provider environment, including the application of QoS mechanisms
  •  Experience of provisioning tools, network management applications and network inventories (eg. Cramer) and IP platforms
  •  Knowledge of multi-vendor router and firewall configuration
