Job Title:             Sand Mold Design Specialist

Essential Job Functions:

• R&D efforts necessary 
• Create casting mold designs
• Perform Magmasoft solidification modeling
• Construct 3D animations of mold assembly
• Create bill-of-materials for mold assemblies
• Assist in documenting department procedures for responsibilities listed above

Education / Experience Required:

•     Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology 

•     GPA: 2.5

•     Computer Aided Design experience (Solidworks, Creo), preferred

•     Solidification Modeling Software experience (Magmasoft), preferred

•     Sand lab testing experience, preferred

•     Prior experience as Fisher co-op or intern is required

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: 

•     Knowledge and appreciation of manufacturing processes and controls

•     Ability to quickly learn and internalize new technologies and processes

•     Strong documentation and process definition capabilities

•     Ability to work with minimal supervision

•     Ability to prioritize and multi-task

•     Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft office competency with the ability to create/revise written documents and spreadsheets, order/receive materials and parts
