Description

What you’ll do:

  • Account management with an outcome of increased customer satisfaction and an increase in retention and account growth 
  • Quota responsibility of $800,000+ of contract value within a territory of major client accounts
  • Mastery and consistent execution of Gartner’s sales methodology 
  • Account planning and territory management 
  • Managing forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis 
  • Maintaining competitive knowledge and focus 
  • In-depth knowledge of Gartner’s products and services 

 

What you’ll need:

  • 11-14 years of experience with proven consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services, software, or consultative environment), with evidence of prior success in Sales
  • Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence and sales acumen 
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organisations
  • Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process 
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree – desired

This includes working collaboratively with marketing, sales, product, and other key stakeholders to increase sales results and productivity. Analytical thinking, ability to work with numbers, reports & insights Background in sales enablement, sales coaching/mentoring, sales operations, content creation for sales team or sales Business-focused with a sales oriented and customer-success-driven mindset Previous experience in sales / marketing in a SaaS environment is an added advantage Content creation experience building assets and materials that are externally facing and can be used by the sales team to facilitate their sales cycle Strategic thinking ability that can take broad vision and develop structured plans of action to drive tangible outcomes Ability to: Work in a global and matrix environment Work in Agile environment Lead and influence others without direct authority Facilitate collaborative, cross-functional design sessions Working knowledge of training techniques and best practices for onboarding or adopting new technologies Qualifications: BE + MBA preferred with 3-5 years of experience For candidates with technology powered sales enablement experience and workex, MBA is not mandatory
