Job title - Application Engineer, Asia Pacific, Pressure relief valves
Location - FCEC, Chennai, India
This role will support the sizing and costing of pressure relief valves and will work in co ordination with the projects team in Singapore
 

1. Review project specifications and prepare deviations list
2. Clarify doubts on technical specifications through conference calls with Sales office/LBP/factory
3. Sizing and selection of relief valves using proprietary PRV2SIZE software
4. Contact WA factory as and when required for critical application solutions/special prices
5. Prepare Technical and Commercial Quote, technical deviations list and generate reports and drawings           
6. Develop costing for the valves using SAP and calculate overall project gross margin.
7. Ensure resultant purchase orders are clean and in line with quotation and agreed terms and conditions
8. Provide support on project revisions from Customer
9. Support Sales office after the issue of PO and prepare the fcw file for order entry
10. Provide technical support for BOM /factory clarifications and assist with change orders
11. Participate in Technical clarification meetings, customer meetings,Kick off meetings as required
12. Contribute towards the internal product training program where possible
13. Maintain records of all work done.

Basic Qualifications :

1. Minimum requirement : Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation or Chemical
2. Ability to co ordinate with multiple stakeholders in a project
3. Basic knowledge of valves and its working principles
4. 3-6 years of Experience in Inside Sales or knowledge of pressure relief valves will be an added advantage
5. Ability to analyze issues and provide solutions that are technically proficient and on time
