The Fund Accounting Analyst position is responsible for participating in a variety of fund valuation activities. The role involves assisting in the calculation of daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations for funds and the distribution of associated unit prices. The candidate will perform cash and position reconciliation, process income/expense files, validate exceptions, perform trade pushing/accounting, process high-value transactions, coordinate with Custodians, and provide process improvement suggestions. They must have excellent communication skills, sound accounting knowledge, and a good understanding of capital markets and derivative instruments. A bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration is preferred. The candidate must be willing to work in night shifts.
The Fund Accounting Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participating in a variety of fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the calculation of daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds and the distribution of associated unit prices.
Responsibilities:
Performing & Review Cash & Position Reconciliation of Funds.
Daily Income/Expense files processing based at fund level.
Validate exceptions in workflow exception management (WEM) or p-Control or EMS
Perform trade pushing/accounting based on the feeds received from trades team and ensure all trades are pushed and accounted.
Processing of high value transactions in the system – Capital and Sweep Bookings.
Coordinate with Custodians for pending breaks and participate in Custodian call to discuss status of aged breaks.
Work with team leaders in resolution of client inquiries
Provide process improvement suggestions or contribute towards controls to be implemented to have a risk free process.

Skills Required: -
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skill
- Sound accounting knowledge and understanding of accounting practices
- Good knowledge of all security types, trade life cycle, corporate actions and its impact on portfolio.
- Exposure to Invest One Enterprise, EMS, Recon frontier or TLM application will be an added advantage..
- Good understanding of Capital Markets, Derivative Instruments, Custodians, Brokers.
- Work and time management should go hand in hand and needs to have eye for detail.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration is preferred.
- 7-9 years Fund Accounting experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office products
Working Hours:
- Candidate will be required to work in Night shift as per business requirement
