Performance-Fund Accounting Supervisor
Join our team as a Manager in middle office operations to ensure regional teams deliver performance returns and attribution reports on time. Lead training, goal setting, appraisal, and collaborate with onshore teams.
Description
You will be part of the middle office operations team providing performance calculation and attribution analysis for our clients in the region. As a Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all the regional teams are producing and validating performance returns and attribution reports. You will also work closely with the onshore counterparts to establish global operating models and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the regional teams and ensure that all deliverables are as per the agreed SLA.
- Identify training needs and provide it to the team members as per requirement.
- Responsible for goal setting and mid year and year end performance appraisal.
- Producing, reviewing and validating portfolio account performance calculations and performance reports associated with accounts, composites and managers
- Creating customized reporting based on clients’ requirements; maintain, produce and review client composites according to SLAs and GIPS standards
- Participating in department projects and ensuring completion, as well as assist new clients on boarding and implementation processes
- Reviewing, updating and implementing new processes and procedures as required, to enhance operational controls
- Interfacing with performance and index vendors
- Experience in resolving data issues using Accounting systems and ability to understand the flow between accounting and performance systems.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Pursuing/completed CIPM (Preference – not mandatory)
Performance Job Experience:
- 10+ years experience in performance measurement operations or experience with account/security level performance in a related field
- Familiarity/Understanding of Segment, Security and Attribution Performance Reporting
- Familiarity/Understanding of Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)
- Performance System Experience – StatPro/Factset (Preferred)
