Responsibilities

We are excited to hire a Senior Solution Architect, you will guide clients through current workflows, upgrades, system changes and enhancements and ongoing system maintenance. You will act as primary consultant for the client's solution troubleshooting, consultation and knowledge transfer and will cultivate and sustain relationships with clients to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution knowledge and engagement support. You will resolve escalated problems and issues using solution knowledge and expertise and resolve complex client concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance, or solution application. You will perform test script execution and will create and participate in unit and integrated testing. You will manage a team and seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution. You will delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. Identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed. You will provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability and connect opportunities for your associates' development. You will identify the right talent to achieve the desired results. You will also promote and build a diverse and cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates' skills to fill gaps.



Basic Qualifications

  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
    • At least 2 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
    • At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
  • High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

Expectations

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of positions.
  • At least 5 years of Cerner Millennium Work Experience with good knowledge on two or more solutions.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues in a timely manner, mentor new associates and provide SME advice.
  • Should have a good understanding of Cerner Millennium Architecture and Cerner Millennium Data Model.
  • Should have working knowledge on CCL (Cerner Command Language), Discern Explorer, Discern Visual Developer, and Olympus.
  • Ability to perform impact analysis on database and configuration changes.
  • Good to have experience in Cerner Application support, Incident resolution, or Implementation of Cerner Millennium Projects. Perform complex troubleshooting investigations, document notes, and knowledge articles.
  • Good to have knowledge on skills like HL7, SQL, ITIL, and front-end scripting language exposure. 
  • Guide clients through current workflows, upgrades, system changes, and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with peers and clients and provide timely feedback to encourage success.
