We are looking for a PR Writer who will create compelling and engaging content to shape and enhance our brand image and reputation. You will be responsible for writing press releases, guest articles, blogs, thought-leadership articles, interviews, and podcast scripts related to our company, products, and the industry. Additionally, you will build media lists, send proactive pitches to media contacts, and establish relationships. It is essential to have 1-2 years' experience in B2B SaaS PR processes, excellent communication skills, proofreading and editing abilities, and an understanding of technical aspects conveyed in simple language. The ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with teams and PR agencies is crucial. You should also stay updated on industry trends and competitors through research and analytics.
As a PR Writer, you will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content that effectively plays a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our brand image and reputation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Writing content for press releases, guest articles, blogs, thought-leadership articles, interviews, podcast scripts, related to the company, its products and the industry.
- Identifying topics that fit the company for each campaign.
- Building media list for each campaign.
- Creating and sending proactive pitches to media contacts.
- Identifying the right media contacts and building relationships.
Requirements:
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in B2B SaaS PR processes.
- Mature written and verbal communication skills that fit the profile of a company director for thought leadership articles.
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
- Ability to understand the technical aspects of the product and the industry and convey the message in simple language to the readers (of the content and pitches).
- Ability to keep deadlines and take up sudden content requests that might arise in the PR process.
- Ability to collaborate with team and PR agencies when needed.
- Track the industry trends by monitoring the competitors and their activities in the media.
