Position: Estimation Engineer –II- Telecom & Security Integration
Experience : 6 to 10 yrs of relevant industry exp. In engineering or Estimation
Responsibility:
- Support business by preparing techno-commercial proposal covering following aspects as minimum
- Technical Proposal preparation as per customer requirement
- Positioning correct / Minimum compliant technical solution
- Applying correct, optimized & competitive costs
- Applying correct Taxation & duties
- Meeting customer time lines of bid submission
- Attend Techincal meetings,interacting with customer and conducting site survey
- Interaction with various vendors for all third parties bought item/s offer & technical evaluation
- Interacting with internal engineering, operation, sourcing, product marketing team for required support making bid complete.
- Following all Honeywell processes & tools
- Risk & opportunity identification in a proposal
- Timely handing over the received order to operations
- Maintianig compliance as per Honewyell norms
Role Requirements
· Having aqwreness of process industry (e.g. refinery, Oil & Gas etc)
· Understanding of Industrial security, Fire & Gas detection requirements, Telecom pacakges - solution / product offering (CCTV, Access control system, Peripheral Intrusion Detection system, Fire & gas Detectors, MCP, Hooters, FAP/FAS, PAGA, Radio, EPABX, SDH,)
· Knowledge of hazardous area, classifications, intrinsically safety, applicable IEC standards.
· Knowledge on estimating erection hardware
· Should have knowledge of codes and standards pertaining to Industrial Telecom, safety & Security
· Understanding of taxes and duties
· Good Analytical skills and ability
· Able to multitask and manage priorities.
· Ready to travel to customer / Honeywell Offices / sites for meetings/ surveys
Qualifications : B.E. (Instrumentation/Electrical/ Electronics)
Touring : 10% Domestic
