We are currently seeking an Estimation Engineer II – Control System (DCS & Safety PLC) based in Pune with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant industry experience in engineering and/or estimation. As an Estimation Engineer, your responsibility will be to support the business by preparing technical proposals, meeting customer timelines, attending technical meetings, interacting with customers, conducting site surveys, and interacting with vendors and internal teams for required support. You will also need to follow all Honeywell processes and tools, identify risks and opportunities in proposals, and ensure timely handover of orders to operations. The role requires a strong understanding of process industries, sound knowledge of control systems, hazardous areas, applicable codes and standards, and good analytical and multitasking skills. Travel to customer sites and Honeywell offices for meetings and surveys may be required.

Position : Estimation Engineer II – Control system (DCS & Safety PLC) 

Location : Pune           

Experience : min 5 to 8  yrs of relevant industry exp. In engineering and/ or  Estimation 
                                                  

Responsibility:

 

  • Support business by preparing technical proposal covering following aspects as minimum
  • Meeting customer time lines of bid submission
  • Attend Techincal meetings,interacting with customer and conducting site survey
  • Interaction with various vendors for all third parties bought item/s offer & technical evaluation
  • Interacting with internal engineering, operation, sourcing, product marketing team for required support making bid complete.
  • Following all Honeywell processes & tools
  • Risk & opportunity identification in a proposal
  • Timely handing over the received order to operations
  • Maintianig compliance as per Honewyell norms

Role Requirements

·       Understanding of process industry (e.g.Life sciences, Pharma, Speciality chemicals, refinery, Oil & Gas, CLS, MMM etc)

·       Sound knowledge of control sstem (DCS, Safety PLC) is mandatory. Experience of Honeywell system will be preferred.

·       Knowledge of hazardous area, classifications, intrinsical safety, SIL, applicable Codes & IEC standards, Pharma guidlines.

·       Knowledge on estimating erection hardware & understanding the hook up drawings, reading P&ID  

·       Understanding of taxes and duties

·       Good Analytical skills and ability

·       Able to multitask and manage priorities.

·       Ready to travel to customer / Honeywell Offices / sites for meetings/ surveys

Qualifications  : B.E. (Instrumentation/Electrical/  Electronics)        

Touring  : 10%  Domestic
