Position Title: Estimation Engineer II 

Job summary:  This position is responsible for Proposals & Estimates for Domestic & Global pursuits for delivering proposals on Tank Farm Management System & Loading Automation Products like Batch Controllers, Additive/Blending systems etc. The extended responsibility includes understanding the Front-end sales/External customer expectation from different geographies, culture & working style. Provide quality proposal as per the Global standard by offering best technical solution to meet the customer requirements with optimal cost. This also requires enormous efforts to engage with cross functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Sourcing, Marketing, & Product Support) to identify & mitigate technical & commercial risks.
Responsibilities:
Core Activities Delivery of proposals – technical and price bids, on time for assigned proposals for local & global pursuits.
Develop proposal complete in all respects against the inquiry including technical compliance / response documentation, specify scope limits and prepare cost estimates. 
Good Knowledge on Field Instrumentation, Pressure, Temp, Level, Flow products.
Good Knowledge of Tank Gauging products like Honeywell Enraf, SAAB Rosemount & E&H Radar Level Gauges.
Good knowledge on Terminal Automation domain for loading / additive / blending systems. 
Evaluate proposals from vendors for project buy-outs for technical compliance and completeness. 
Provide inputs for continuous improvement of systems and processes to support accurate proposals and productivity
Compile booking package for timely and accurate hand over to project execution team.
Exposure to Inventory Management & custody transfer domain.
Knowledge on SVP & Liquid Metering skid shall be added advantage.


An effective communicator - Provide timely and concise information to the people using clear and thoughtful oral and written communications to influence, negotiate and collaborate effectively.
