As a Facilities Technician - Ultra Pure Water / Industrial Waste your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide Facilities engineering leadership to the site organizations in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental and Cost objectives.
  • Own safety within area of influence; ensure systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility(or operations) impacts by meeting uptime goals.
  • Overlook projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule; oversight of planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance, and modifications to equipment, machinery, facilities systems, buildings, and structures as required to support business requirements.
  • Deliver operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutions.
  • Collaborate with construction and operations teams to coordinate work in the field.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to achieve lowest cost of ownership to key stakeholders while maintaining reliability.
  • Results are delivered through the application of engineering skills and tools.
  • Systematic problem solving; statistical validation of system performance.
  • Collaborate with the Site Facility management team, suppliers, key stakeholders and through in depth understanding of the operating systems to determine and ensure compliance to existing standards, specifications, building codes, and processes.
  • Own, sustain and improve system capacity, operational troubleshooting, system upgrade evaluation and optimization.
  • Enhance performance by utilizing statistical process control methodologies, Design of Experiments (DOE) and developing procedures for our industrial waste systems.
  • Focus on identifying opportunities to improve existing system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Expected to search for new technology strategies to bring the system to next level of effectiveness and efficiency for factory support.

Qualifications
 

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate should possess at least one of the following:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM degrees with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing Ultra-pure water (UPW) process facilities.
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM degrees with 1+ years of experience in manufacturing Ultra-pure water (UPW) process facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PE Registration or EIT certification is highly desired.
  • 3+ years industry-related facilities water systems design, operations and maintenance experience.
  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent of facilities water systems, chemical and/or mechanical engineering principles, including chemical piping, neutralization, filtration, pumps, valves, flow calculations and chemical analytical testing.
  • Demonstrated application of sound engineering principles and technical problem solving
