PCB Design for New Product Development, Sustaining Engineering, Product Testing, Technical Documents, Engineering changes and release.            
 

The Team

  • Enhance the PCB Design process by innovating new techniques and methods.
  • Guide the team to provide PCB related technical support to internal and external customers.
  • Review and validate board designs to meet the standard specifications and customers’ requirements.
  • Coordinate with global SI/Hardware and provide development input to enhance the quality of PCB in cost effective manner.
  • Work with the fab house to get the competitive quotation and material lead time information.
  • Prepare the training material and mentor the junior to do the quality layout design
  • Work with the assembly house to get the competitive quotation and coordinate for the component sourcing with minimum lead time and cost.
  • Interacting with fab house and Addressing Fab TQ effectively to reduce the design lead time.
  • PCB layout design automation to increase the efficiency and accuracy
  • Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
     

What You Will Do

To help develop / support new and existing PCB that meets or exceeds customer expectations.  Provide guidance for new PCB development to generate revenue and growth for Business Unit.  To grow his/her team members in becoming high performers.
 

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • B.E./B.Tech Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • 3 + years in high-speed PCB design  

 

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in designing and validating high Speed digital, analog and mixed signal PCB.
  • Good knowledge on the electronic devices and circuits.
  • Demonstrate ability in problem solving, sound judgment, and leadership.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Lead to provide an effective documentation (engineering process, layout, Checklist, fabrication deviation report and quality reports) and presentation skills
  • Interaction with PCB vendors to implement low cost and innovative technology.
  • Experienced in ECAD tool such as Allegro PCB editor, Orcad Capture and CAM350
  • Good Knowledge in IPC PCB design guidelines
  • Experience in Component selection and validation
  • Experience in participating in design review's with Internal/External customer
  • An understanding of the causes of SI/EMC/EMI/ESD problems in electronic circuits and best practice methods employed to overcome these.
  • Technical expertise to handle project independently
  • Self-review and help other team members in Quality checks and On time quality deliverable
  • EDA tools – Cadence Allegro, OrCAD, Mentor graphics PADS, CAM350, GerbTool, Polar Impedance Calculator.
