We are looking for bright and exceptional programmers to join our Discretionary Tech teams based in the firm’s offices in Hyderabad/Gurugram. The team develops applications to facilitate the end-to-end trading lifecycle and portfolio management activities.

What you’ll do day-to-day

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team's responsibility is to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Platform engineers and system administrators, to design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable systems. This also includes evaluating the existing infrastructure and proposing improvements to enhance reliability. Additionally, you will develop and maintain automation tools, scripts, and frameworks to streamline operational tasks such as deployment, monitoring, and incident response. You will implement configuration management systems and infrastructure-as-code practices. You will define and implement monitoring solutions to track the performance, availability, and reliability of systems and set up alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the users. Furthermore, you will implement and adhere to the best practices for system reliability, including fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and backup strategies while continuously improving system resiliency through proactive measures such as chaos engineering and fault injection testing. Lastly, you will stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to site reliability engineering and identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance the overall reliability and performance of systems.

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer.
  • Science, Information Systems or other technical disciplines 5+ years of experience in designing and building scalable and reliable software systems.
  • Excellent understanding of Unix fundamentals and hands on experience in performance tuning, capacity planning, server management, and troubleshooting
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with cross functional groups across the globe.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure services like DNS, LDAP, Mail, Kerberos, etc.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language - Python, GO, etc.
  • Experience in modern configuration management tools and CI processes/tools (Puppet, GIT).
  • Prior experience of technical leadership or managing small teams would be an added advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a project lead to join the Quality & Test Engineering group based in the firm’s office in Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Gurugram. The team is responsible for the test engineering practices for critical enterprise application tools and components. What you’ll do day-to-day The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring a small group of test engineers; driving innovation by improving on or introducing new tools, methodologies, and processes; and contributing to scope planning, test effort estimation, and release sign-off. The candidate will focus on productivity through automation: using tools and scripting technologies, in addition to developing end-to-end functional and integration test-case scenarios to validate business function and system requirements.
