What you’ll do day-to-day

The Windows Engineer will work on designing, implementing, and managing the firm’s Windows Infrastructure in collaboration with other IT Infrastructure teams. The Windows engineer will be involved in engineering project work and tier 2/3 operational support to increase the overall supportability and reliability of the firm’s enterprise technology environment. Additional responsibilities will include upgrading and/or re-designing existing infrastructure for improved performance and stability.

Who we’re looking for

  • The candidate should have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in in Computer Science & Engineering or other technical disciplines, and 5+ years of work experience in the Windows domain is a must.
  • The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Windows fundamentals and extensive experience with one or more of the following technologies – Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM, Hyper-V, VMware, Failover Clustering, Exchange, SQL Server, etc.
  • Candidate should have good proficiency in PowerShell and experience with modern configuration management and development tools (e.g. git, continuous integration systems) is required. Experience with .NET development and/or Python is also a plus.
  • Candidate should have experience in Handling L2/L3 escalations from Helpdesk/NOC and proactively identifying and fixing issues in production environment.
  • Candidates should have previous experience with the design and end-to-end implementation of performant, reliable and secure systems, and troubleshooting capabilities and experience with diagnostic/tracing tools. We work in a highly collaborative environment and experience on Linux or Storage systems would be desirable.
  • The ideal candidate should also have willingness to learn and be a self-starter. Prior experience of technical leadership or managing small teams would be good to have.

JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a project lead to join the Quality & Test Engineering group based in the firm’s office in Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Gurugram. The team is responsible for the test engineering practices for critical enterprise application tools and components. What you’ll do day-to-day The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring a small group of test engineers; driving innovation by improving on or introducing new tools, methodologies, and processes; and contributing to scope planning, test effort estimation, and release sign-off.
