The Physical Design & Integration (PDI) team is responsible for Airframe Electrical System Installation (ESI) &
Mechanical System Installation (MSI) Architecture and Integration activities. Within the PDI framework,
Digitization & process improvement on System Installation activities are the key.

● Bachelor/ Master Degree in Aerospace, Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
● 3-6 years of experience in electrical system installation and configuration management
Technical Skills:
● Good experience with Catia V5 for the creation & validation of 3D model methodologies.
● Basic understanding of Configuration Management w.r.t. Aircraft build process.
● DMU understanding and navigation of Product Structure with clear understanding.
● Multi skilled with System Installation, Structure design & stress analysis.
● Knowledge on Aircraft build process and basic understanding of Aircraft systems.
● Experience in handling PDM/VPM tools and linking to CAD models with design in a context
environment.
● Basic knowledge of coding & scripting (VBA, Python, CAA) will be desirable.
● Awareness of SAFE & Agile methodologies.
● Good Project Management skills to drive the performance KPIs & improvements proactively.
● Good understanding of Aircraft Function, Operation & Processes.
● Awareness of Airbus processes & methods would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:
● Liaise with various stakeholders from the design office, Process Methods & Tools and drive the
changes in the current way of working.
● To define user stories, following with testing of the tool developments & regular updates.
● Defining the priorities for deliveries considering the overall planning.
● Act as SPOC for Airframe automation activities, working with a multi functional team.
● Network & liaise with a broad range of Airframe, Systems and Cabin sub-domains including
Industrialization, Standardization, Research & Environment Integration.
● Propose and implement digitization ideas through new ways of working.
● Reporting of all activities as per Airbus procedures.
● Willing to travel internationally and work in a multi-cultural environment on a need basis.
