Job Description:
As Electrical System Architecture Engineer, you will be responsible for a host of activities like electrical load analysis, configuration management, defining /reviewing/analyzing electrical architecture. Your contribution will span through the entire aircraft life cycle starting from early development stages to post delivery of aircrafts. You will also be contributing to the state-of-the-art initiatives driven globally by the Airbus.
The activities to be performed include:
Electrical Architecture:
- Network Quality Analysis
- In Service repairs
- Electrical structure network
Electrical load analysis:
- Reviewing/analyzing the electrical load list
- Analysis of loads at various levels (busbar level, TRU level, generator level) and overload analysis
- Creation of ELA document and ELA Report
- Analyse and reply various Airline Electrical load analysis requests
- Delivery of Electrical load analysis for all Airbus Commercial aircrafts on Time, Cost and Quality
Model & Digitalization Activities:
- Feasibility studies for new modification proposals
- Ideate, design and size electrical architecture using tools like MATLAB, SIMULINK, SIMSCAPE etc.
- Define and perform trade off studies for various programmes
- Generate Bill of Materials, perform trade off studies like voltage drop
- Providing System Architecture/Installation input for various improvement studies
- Modifying the architecture and computing weight and cost difference against ‘as-is’ design
- Deliver simulation model and model based prognostics algorithm for electrical system on Time, Cost and Quality
- Performing data analysis of electrical parameters and test results for decision making on the design and development aspects.
Allied Activities:
- Initiate optimization studies and propose innovative solutions.
- Create collaboration topics to improve the process, methods and tools
EDUCATION:
B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.E. in Electrical / Aerospace Engineering
REQUIRED TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:
- General awareness of aircraft and its systems
- Good understanding of engineering fundamentals and use of first principles.
- Knowledge of programming in C/C++/Python, Matlab/Simulink and data analytics.
- Good with mathematics and statistical analysis.
- Exposure to Aircraft Electrical System
- Good understanding of Configuration Management and Change process.
EXPERIENCE:
· Preferable 3-8 years of relevant experience
· Training sessions will be conducted on different aspects of operations as needed
