Team Description
The Maintenance Team at Airbus India utilizes primarily System Engineering and Health engineering competencies. This team is responsible for defining the maintenance systems of tomorrow for the aircraft, designing the BITE specifications for the systems, providing the customization mods needed for the aircraft, and developing diagnostic and prognostic solutions to improve the maturity of systems and to provide health monitoring capabilities by applying machine learning algorithms, reliability concepts, an adept understanding of aircraft systems and modeling and simulation capabilities. The team works with both commercial and defense & space ecosystems and is also engaged on Airbus Skywise (the singular access point to data analytics) utilizing Big Data, Java & Python skills to create data-driven models. We are a team strongly invested in R&T initiatives that are dedicated to supporting future aircraft health needs. This team is part of Simulation & Physical Systems, a department that works on providing simulation means for most aircraft systems and industrial needs through the application of systems engineering, MBSE, certification abilities, etc.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a Maintenance Systems- Data Analyst who is self-motivated and driven to work on maintenance systems being responsible for:
Understanding the maintenance data (BITE messages, warnings etc.) coming from different systems through onboard maintenance systems - CMS, FWS, FDIMU etc.
Create dashboard that provides a status of the different A/C systems in-service reliability in order to:
Provide a ‘numerical’ view of the key maintenance messages or warnings raised by different A/C systems in a given programme based on predefined KPIs
Support programme by providing comparisons/insights/KPIs for decision making on systems development/evolution based on different criterias
Provide immediate metrics that are useable for a wide number of purposes
Have clear visibility of the database availability and coverage for the various topics.
Identify areas/ systems where Health Monitoring could bring a reliability benefit (for Predictive Maintenance or CBM)
Required experience & Skills
B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. in any stream preferably in aerospace engineering.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Aerospace or A/C maintenance systems
Well experienced in Data Analytics & related tools (Matlab, Python, R, etc.).
Hand-on experience on data wrangling/data mining techniques
Awareness of Skywise or experience in equivalent data platforms.
Understanding of maintenance systems.
Awareness of aviation safety/airworthiness requirements
Awareness of system engineering, Big Data
Experienced with at least one of the scripting languages (Python, Java, C etc)
Business Proficiency in English
Nice to Have
Proficiency in quickly grasping the technical details of different A/C and inservice scenarios to solve relevant problem statements.
Self-motivated individual interested in working on data science concepts for aviation industry
Strong team player motivated to collaborate and find synergies
Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to solve problems creatively
Ability to work independently & in an team in a transnational environment
