   Team Description

The Maintenance Team at Airbus India utilizes primarily System Engineering and Health engineering competencies. This team is responsible for defining the maintenance systems of tomorrow for the aircraft, designing the BITE specifications for the systems, providing the customization mods needed for the aircraft, and developing diagnostic and prognostic solutions to improve the maturity of systems and to provide health monitoring capabilities by applying machine learning algorithms, reliability concepts, an adept understanding of aircraft systems and modeling and simulation capabilities. The team works with both commercial and defense & space ecosystems and is also engaged on Airbus Skywise (the singular access point to data analytics) utilizing Big Data, Java & Python skills to create data-driven models. We are a team strongly invested in R&T initiatives that are dedicated to supporting future aircraft health needs. This team is part of Simulation & Physical Systems, a department that works on providing simulation means for most aircraft systems and industrial needs through the application of systems engineering, MBSE, certification abilities, etc.

  Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an In-Service Support Engineer - Avionics Systems who is self-motivated and driven to provide support to Airlines and Repair shops for in-Service Engineering issues for different Avionics systems (Flight Control, FWC, ECP, SDAC, etc ) and being responsible for:

Collect and organize technical informations from different avionics supplier, internal repair shops or partners (sometimes customers) in order to allow product managers to conduct product reliability analysis and identify any problems

Computation of data to analyze reliability trends.-  Write or update documents intended for product support (capitalization documents,  technical dashboards, Com Kit to support commercial visits...)

Manage technical reviews: review intended to analyze the behavior in operation of the  computers, repair and stock strategy (including end of life analysis, actions to improve reliability if necessary,technical documentation)

Participate and contribute to different technical forums

Using data analytics Airbus tools (typically Skywise Services), develop data analytics  dashboards to provide visibility on Airbus product reliability

Required experience & Skills

B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. in aerospace, mechanical, electrical or electronics engineering with minimum 3 years of experience in Aerospace industry

Business Proficiency in English

Good understanding in any aircraft systems.

Basic awareness of system engineering concepts

Airline operations knowledge 

Service minded and highly customer focus, able to understand customer needs

Advanced interpersonal & coordination skills to work in close collaboration with Multi Functional Teams  external stakeholders in a multicultural environment,

Nice to Have

Proficiency in quickly grasping the technical details of different aircraft systems and associating the technology to solve relevant problem statements.
