Airbus is looking for a Group Manager – IM Programme, Customer Engagement and Services to join the Bangalore, India location.
Group Manager IM Programme, Customer Engagement and Services is part of the Information Management (IM) domain. We are leading Information Management partner for other Airbus Businesses and develop Digital Customer journey through competitive engagement and innovation. We are a customer oriented driving force in Enterprise Architecture, IT simplification, Operational Excellence, Sustainability, Security and Compliance.
He/She will be responsible for the day to day management of the IM Programme, Customer Engagement and Services team, which is located within the Airbus IM Global In-house Centre (GIC). Success of this position will require good hands-on experience in Products Software development and strong international collaboration with global Airbus teams.
The successful candidate will establish team member goals along with Business stakeholders, by understanding the business strategy, identify and evaluate business & technical trends and choose a course of action to achieve the same. He/She will accomplish the team results/performance by supporting the team.
Over the course of time, the role will transition to the Product Manager role which includes end to end accountability of owning the application(s) along with People management and any supplier's management working on the engagement.
Qualification & Experience
1) Graduate with 15+ years of experience in Software Development, People management, owning an application/set of applications with end to end accountability
2) Expert level:
a. Product Software development
b. Building prototypes quickly and ability to scale to minimum viable product c. Proven skills in build-in-quality
d. Delivery management
e. People management and people development skills
f. Leadership skills
g. Stakeholder management
3) Other:
a. Working experience in Agile/Kanban/SAFe and waterfall way of working

Responsibilities
● Hold the full responsibility to lead the teams in right direction to achieve the success
● Manage and lead the team on day to day operational basis and drive continuous process improvement
● Lead the team using a performance management and development process with the right training program
● Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action when it’s required.
● Work with Business team and Human Resources Team to interview and recruit right team based on the business need
● Coach, mentor, provide oversight and direction to the team accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
● Develop the team to take the delegation and empower them to take responsibility for their jobs and goals
● Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's goal and objectives
● Manage work timing schedules, job rotation and vacations of the team
● Maintain transparent and appropriate communication with the team
● Responsible to take business decisions in accordance with organization policies and procedures
● Responsible for budget management
● Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new applications/Projects transition to operations etc.
● Ability to provide solutions, determine overall design direction and provide recommendations for complex issues
