Arcesium seeks a Sales Engineer to join the Client and Partner Development (CPD) team. Sales Engineering is responsible for building world-class demos that crisply highlight the breadth and depth of what Arcesium does and can do. Using deep knowledge of Arcesium’s products, they are responsible for maintaining the demo environment(s), building the library of use cases for prospects, new customer content development, assisting with complex responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and executing Proof of Concepts. This highly-impactful, cross-functional team is on the front lines of helping Arcesium win business in new markets, new products and new client segments in a collegial, collaborative and exciting environment.
What You'll Do
- Act as SME in Sales meetings, especially for the UK sales team
- Demonstrate and/or discuss Arcesium capabilities to prospective clients as part of deep dive sales demos.
- Design and create Scenarios in Demo environment that showcase Arcesium capabilities in a compelling way.
- Own Demo and Training environments, to ensure they are setup for specific requirements. On a need basis, work with Engineering teams to tweak the Demo environment for Sales demos and/or PoCs.
- Proactively create high quality (reusable) artifacts to support the Sales process comprising of rich examples. Quickly tailor existing artifacts to meet needs of a prospective client.
- Write client facing responses to Questionnaires (RFP, RFI, RFQ) from prospective clients about functionality. Work with Sales executives in writing proposal documents, including proposed solution section for complex deals.
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to understand new features and synthesize this for Sales and Training.
- Work closely with Forward deployed group to enables sales and implementation projects.
- For consulting projects, conduct interviews with various stakeholders at prospective clients. Document client's current and target state via diagrams and concise write ups for internal stakeholders and for clients.
- Capture R&D requirements that emerge from Sales meetings. Work with Product teams to come up with estimates, while making reasonable assumptions based on your understanding of the prospective client.
- Lead / execute Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects for prospective clients. Work with prospective clients to influence and/or define scope of PoCs.
- Travel to client locations to deliver on-site training sessions and proof-of-concept result presentations, this includes US but especially Europe, Asia and Australia.
What You'll Need
- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or a Business-related field of study / MBA.
- 4-10 years of relevant work experience (4+ years’ experience gained in Middle/ Back Office Operations or Accounting working for an Investment Bank, Prime Broker, Administrator or Asset Manager, and at least 2 years in a client facing role).
- Prior experience in Treasury Services (collateral management, securities lending, counterparty risk management, margin management) is a strong plus.
- Prior experience in servicing Equities, Credit, Fixed Income, Futures, FX, and Options, OTC is a strong plus.
- Excellent business acumen and the ability to interpret complex business processes.
- Demonstrated success working in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong business writing aptitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience using Response Management software like RFPIO is a plus
