This position is part of the Power Delivery unit at Arcadis. You will coordinate the power system engineering team and perform feasibility studies, interconnection studies, transient studies, and systems analysis investigations. You will also work closely with senior and lead power system engineers. Job Description:

This is a technical position within the Power Delivery unit of Arcadis. The position consisting in the coordination of the power system engineering team and performing hands on feasibility studies, interconnection studies, transient studies, and systems analysis investigations for clients in North America primarily. The incumbent will also work closely with Sr. and Lead Power System Engineer within the Power Delivery group.

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Support various power system study & planning projects and technical reports and documents.
  • Perform power systems analysis activities including load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability, electromagnetic transient, small-signal stability analysis, reliability analysis etc.
  • Work closes with Sr. System Study engineer and help develop functional specifications for facility requirements related to different system development portfolios, for purposes of developing preliminary designs and obtaining estimates for the associated facilities.
  • Perform planning/system performance studies and transient studies for compliance with prevailing standards and criteria and good engineering practice.
  • Prepare reports and deliver presentations to clients.
  • Help and develop proposal effort to Project Team. 
  • Delivery of accurate and thorough planning, studies, system design, report summary and other client system study deliverables that will meet industry standards and specifications and meet good engineering practice with excellent constructability.
  • Maintaining close coordination and help other relevant Arcadis Business Units and Practices for cross selling and cross staffing opportunities. 

Role Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in power system study analysis and planning

JOB DESCRIPTION Overview This role reports to the Principal Audit Manager (PAM) for Technology – Investment and Corporate Bank US who in turn reports to the Global Chief Auditor for Technology Investment and Corporate Bank. You will work with management and staff within Group Audit (GA) to deliver audits owned and led by the investment and corporate bank audit teams. You will also provide technology support the Business audit teams with coverage of the same areas, as part of ‘front to back’ audit reviews.   What We Offer You: We offer competitive health and wellness benefits, empowering you to value life in and out of the office Active engagement with the local community through Deutsche Bank’s specialized employee groups An environment that encourages networking and collaboration across functions and businesses   Return to Office: It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion Hear from our people and look inside our office: DB@The Muse   Your Key Responsibilities: Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to Technology supporting Investment Bank (e.g., FIC sales and trading, client coverage) and Corporate Bank (cash management, security services, trade financing and lending) in accordance with GA methodology and the established risk assessment framework Conduct technology assessments and continuous monitoring Undertake audit assignments, plan audits (e.g., documenting activity flows of the processes to be reviewed, identifying risks and the key actual controls in place to mitigate the identified risks), attend meetings with internal stakeholders, perform testing and document results, draft audit issues for review by audit management, conduct tracking of audit findings, and validate closure of audit findings Participate in meetings with business auditors and provide input for business led (‘front to back’) audits Develop and maintain broad regulatory knowledge & experience, stay abreast of business/industry changes and their effect on the team’s audit plan, audit methodology, and risk assessments Proactively develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, the Business and respective support areas; work in an integrated manner with fellow team members both locally and globally   Your Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent degreed in information technology, computer science or related discipline and professional certification (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CCSP, ITIL, COBIT, CIA, CFE, CPA, etc.) preferred Moderate experience in an internal audit role preferably in financial services; public accounting experience an advantage Understanding of technology, security, and the related risks and controls within that area as well as from upstream processes Significant demonstrable experience of IT auditing (e.g., audits of automated business controls and of the implementation of new systems) and experience with audits of IT general controls Ability to identify and evaluate risks within the control environment, sound judgment on the impact of issues raised   Our values define the working environment we strive to create – diverse, supportive and welcoming of different views.
