Job Summary:
As a Learning Experience Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and effective learning experiences for S&P Global Ratings employees. You will be part of the Ratings Learning team that supports the design and delivery of training programs that comply with regulatory requirements and meet the needs of diverse audiences across the business. The Learning Experience Designer leads the development, maintenance and delivery of employee targeted, instructor-led and self-paced digital content. The role collaborates closely with leadership and industry leading experts to define learning needs, to engage in curriculum design, to curate or develop content, and to ensure quality of delivery. Success in the role relies on your skills and ability to lead design consultations, incorporate adult learning theory, storytelling, storyboarding, eLearning authoring, and audio/ visual media design. A Learning Experience Designer leads the development, maintenance and delivery of employee targeted, instructor-led and technology deployed content and solutions. The role collaborates closely with our industry leading experts to determine learning needs, curriculum design, curate or develop content, ensure quality of delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and develop learning objectives
- Design interactive learning experiences that incorporate adult learning theory and best practices
- Produce storyboards, scripts, and visuals that are creative, and align with learning objectives
- Develop eLearning using L&D authoring tools (i.e., Articulate, Captivate) as well as administer content via the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Use Adobe Creative Suite or other visual media design tools to create graphics, animations, and other audio/visual elements that support learning, and the branding needs of the team.
- Lead the UX design and development of the team’s intranet site.
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time.
- Provide learning consultation to internal stakeholders and recommend learning solutions that align with business goals and objectives
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in learning experience design and bring new ideas, tools, and best practices to the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in learning experience design or related field
- MUST HAVE solid written & verbal communication skills for storytelling, story boarding and for collaborating with project teams
- Experience designing and developing e-Learnings using L&D authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or other media production tools to create graphics, animations, and other visual elements
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and best practices in learning experience design
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or financial services is preferred
