Purpose of Position:

  • Plan, deliver, and track projects using Hexagon methodology to meet project milestones.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplined internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are deployed on time and meet requirements.
  • Monitors costs, times, quality, and resources used acts where these exceed agreed tolerances.
  • Agrees on project approach with stakeholders and prepares realistic project plans (including scope, schedule, quality, risk, and communication plans). Tracks activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop project-planning deliverables, including, but not limited to, schedules, work breakdown structures, execution plans, risk assessment, and communication plans.
  • Track projects against budgets (time and cost). Provide regular project updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Track and report on project issues. Manage internal stakeholders to deliver technical and non-technical solutions for issues.
  • Work collaboratively with PD Team to ensure the project plan meets stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate techniques.
  • Manage delivery under pressure and in conjunction with other stakeholders from other departments.
  • Assures that projects are organized and executed in accordance with the Hexagon Innovation Processes as defined by corporate requirements and compliance.
  • Build and maintain working relationships to encourage team building and coaching / professional development of the team.
  • Identify and collaborate on process adoption and improvements.
  • Work across multiple time zones and schedules.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Other duties as required from time to time.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

Education/Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Experience / Skills / Attributes:

  • 5 + years’ proven work experience in Project Management
  • Experience delivering projects in line with business strategies.
  • Proven experience in Project Management role for product development.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and practices and ways of mitigating those risks to an acceptable level.
  • Strong sense of urgency, being able to work to tight deadlines and priorities where necessary.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, including the ability to provide direction to local and remote staff.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CAPM or PMP Certification
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Methodologies
  • Microsoft Project experience
  • Atlassian JIRA experience
