RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expertise and thought leadership for Azure cloud applications and solutions
  • Define and execute cloud-native solutions and architectures based on targeted requirements
  • Lead implementation teams to develop and deploy solutions on the Azure platform
  • Collaborate with operations and development teams to ensure adherence to Azure best practices
  • Evangelize Azure services within the organization as a solution for security and stability

REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Skill

  • 5 – 7 years of proven experience with Microsoft Azure, preferably in a global matrixed technology organization
  • Manage cloud implementations, upgrades, migrations, and change requests on client cloud environments
  • Create, implement, and assist in the development of scripts to automate everyday operations
  • Expertise in Azure cloud services and implementation best practices, particularly with the following:
  •  
    • Azure Compute Services
    • Azure Kubernetes Service
    • Azure Database Services
    • Azure Networking
    • Azure DevOps/Pipelines
  • Strong experience in hands-on development and deployment of Azure services through IaC (Bicep/ARM, Terraform)
  • Experience in deploying custom solutions to the Azure platform using Azure DevOps
  • Proficient in scripting languages.
  • Proficiency in containers and orchestration platforms (Docker and Kubernetes are preferred)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps is preferred)
  • Experience with cloud providers (Azure is preferred)
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) concepts and tools (Ansible and Terraform are preferred)
  • Knowledge about microservices architecture, concepts, and best practices
  • Experience with observability/monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, EFK stack, DataDog, and Jaeger are preferred)
  • Experience using/working with Linux environment
  • Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience with Configuration Management concepts and tools such as Version Control, Branching Strategies, Issue and Project Tracking tools, Release Management, and Continuous Integration.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of web platforms, specifically Sitecore
