Role Description:

We are looking to hire an experienced LiDAR Technologist, responsible for project execution and quality control. The level of detail and deliverable requirements will vary depending upon client requirements. Moreover, you should be detail-oriented, be a team player and You will contribute to the growth and development of Hexagon while also continuing to be challenged and inspired along the way!

Tasks and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
 

• Perform classification, feature extraction and mapping from processed LIDAR data.
• Perform QA/QC and ensure proper data management within timelines.
• Must have the desire to learn new technologies, software, hardware, methodologies and assist the LIDAR team to operate with maximum efficiency.
• Demonstrate energy, drive and passion for the LIDAR division to succeed pay strict      attention to details and always be focused on maximizing their production while maintaining quality.
• Execute LiDAR point clouds and create digital terrain model.
• Handle all project deliverables in a timely manner to support the team.
• Prepare, process, analyse & finalise Lidar data.

Candidate Profile:
 

• Minimum 5 - 10 years' experience in production environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in LiDAR classification software, including MicroStation / Terra Scan.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Interpersonal & Relationship Building skills.
• Must work well with others, be team oriented, helpful and a good problem solver.
• Ability to read, understand and apply technical information, form procedure manuals, written and verbal instruction, guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Relevant experience with software tools for GIS, AutoCAD, Micro-station, Terra Solid or other similar 3D mapping software packages.

Basic Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, GIS, Geomatics or related discipline.
