What role you will play in our team

 

​Incumbent will be responsible to develop and drive direct business in collaboration with cross functional teams ensuring all the initiatives around all sectors are in line with Global & Zonal strategy

What you will do

 

  • Develop a robust opportunities pipeline for Direct business & ensure business conversions to support the Direct business plan Y-O-Y (Year on Year).
  • Ensure Volume growth in Direct accounts in line with the Y-O-Y(Year on Year) Direct business plan.
  • Develop contractual agreements with direct accounts in line with EM contracts framework & ensure contractual compliance
  • Build a personal understanding of market conditions, competitor's activities and emerging trends for the Direct business.
  • Steward & drive the OTC(Order To Cash) process for direct accounts ensuring BCX(Brand and Customer Experience) to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure Service Level agreement compliance with direct accounts through cross functional collaboration & support.
  • Manage 3P OSE(3rd Party On Site Engineer) network to ensure operations & Service support to Direct accounts.
  • Ensure DFA(Demand Forecast Accuracy) for the key products & maintain critical stocks for Direct accounts at respective RDCs.
  • Generate quarterly report on Direct account progress.
  • Publish quarterly newsletter of the clusters to showcase Mobil performance in Direct channel.
  • Ensure Product integrity, Controls, JSA(Job Safety Assessment), Safety culture etc.

 

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical) from a recognized university (with CGPA 7.0 and above)
  • MBA in related field such as Sales & Marketing or Petroleum Management
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in sales & marketing
  • Must be from Industrial Consumables sales background having hands on experience in direct / channel management. Preferably from Industrial Lubricants background or having experience in relevant industrial consumable products e.g., Industrial Bearings, cutting tools, Maintenance & Repair Electrodes or candidates having relevant experience in maintenance of Steel and Cement Industries, Engine OEMs and from OFF -Highway OEMs
  • Preference will be given to a candidate from the same geography if having the relevant experience
  • Self-driven, motivated team player with excellent oral, written & interpersonal communication skills
  • Active listener, summarizes information and demonstrates curiosity to seek knowledge
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Candidate should be open to travel frequently
  • Candidates should be open for relocation as per the business needs
  • Willing to work in shifts (9.00 AM – 6:00 PM IST)
  • Willing to travel                         

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

 

  • ​Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Direct Sales Experience in Industrial Consumables like bearings, cutting tools, lubricants, specialty products
  • Experience in Direct Selling
