Job Description

Title: Sr. AWS Engineer
Location: Horsham, PA 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data governance model, and data security and classification standards, as per Enterprise standards
  • Document and implement data migration and replication strategies
  • Design and develop various proofs of concept related to data replication; as well as libraries of reusable data replication accelerators
  • Responsible for collecting analyzing and interpreting data
  • Identify patterns and trends in data sets
  • Target data collection and analysis processes

Required Skills

  • Must have experience with AWS, DynamoDB, OLTP, Microservice, Data Architecture, Data replication, data validation, Dual Writes Mainframe, DB2, DynamoDB, Aurora, and Postgres
  • Previous experience in Microservices - data services architecture data modeling and integrations
  • Experience with architecting data structures in DynamoDB
  • Previous work and experience as an Aurora data architect for microservices
  • Experience with data dual write scenarios ideally with DB2 and DynamoDB
  • Previous experience with replication of data using Attuning
  • Strong data validation experience - AWS cloud integration experience; with strong AWS cloud computing experience
  • Extensive experience in Lambda and S3
  • Experience with generation of technical documents for Functional Requirement, Impact Analysis, Technical Design, Data Flow Diagram, with Jira Confluence and MS Visio
  • Quick learner and up to date with industry trends
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

DATA ENGINEER is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining pipelines and reusable components to support reporting and analytics data products.
