Job Description

  • 5+ years of NAS storage operational experience to support 24x7 in rotational shift.
  • Provide the support for NAS Storage(NetApp cDOT) it includes Storage Health Check-up, Monitoring alerts and take preventive and reactive actions. Creating and management of shares from storage perspective. Good troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in handling CIFS, NFS, multiprotocol file share management, provisioning, decommission, permission management.
  • Good to have Unix and network related troubleshooting skills.
  • Perform tasks necessary to fulfill service level agreements with end-users regarding storage allocations, limitations, security, and availability.
  • Anticipate, mitigate, identify, respond to, and resolve issues with storage devices, storage access, and data retrieval.
  • Monitor, analyze, and predict trends for storage equipment performance, space allocation, and data growth to recommend enhancements to the IT storage team.
  • Create required reports in response to business user needs.
  • Develop, document, and maintain operational processes and tasks.
  • Strong experience in storage, recovery, troubleshooting, performing proactive maintenance and optimizing performance.
  • Manage snapshot as well as recovery methods for storage volumes.
  • Execute across-site replication of significant DR data.
  • Supervise volume replication overnight jobs and execute improvements.
  • Good knowledge in ITIL frame work on Incident, Problem, Change management & Service request management.
