License Compliance Analyst; Location: Bangalore, India

  • Develops, interprets, and implements data analysis and presentation concepts that support the license compliance and semiconductor IP usage and royalty audit function.
  • Performs data and technical analysis to determine candidates for IP usage and royalty compliance audits and revenue recovery
  • Gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes data and recommendations for audit summaries, responses to auditor questions and follow ups, and findings presented in closing meetings to internal stakeholders.
  • Performs benchmark research and studies in the areas of licensed software and semiconductor IP license investigation, royalty calculations, revenue recovery techniques, industry best practices and local governmental requirements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders in scoping and outlining best practices / process to support critical business operations.
  • Coordinate and drive cross-functional alignment (Business / Operations / IT / External Vendors).
  • Maintain effective communication with all partnering functions and management to ensure program success.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s):

  • Ability to convey information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse, global teams.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent problem solving and communication skills. Must communicate fluently in English, both verbal and written.
  • Independently resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways on a regular basis.
  • Customarily exercises independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions.
  • Excellent creative problem-solving abilities, coupled with a desire to take on responsibility.

Preferred KSA’s:

  • Working experience with SAP Financials, Business Warehouse, and related business applications and systems (e.g., Contract Management System, MS SharePoint)

Experience/Education/Certification:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 1-2 years of general business experience or an advanced business-related degree.
  • Proficient in data mining, analytics, and reporting.
  • Proficient in use of Excel.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in business, or Information Sciences (IT)
