Position: Powertrain ECU Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize Powertrain ECUs for various vehicle platforms. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate and validate control systems. Ensure compliance with emissions standards and safety regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve complex powertrain issues to enhance system reliability. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automotive Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Powertrain ECU development.
  • Strong understanding of powertrain control systems and algorithms.
  • Proficiency in ECU calibration and validation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with expertise in 1D system model preparation, flow and thermal simulations, and functional evaluation of powertrain cooling systems. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out design iterations, proposing counter measures, and developing methods or concept studies. The ability to understand sub-system interactions and work with test data for validation is crucial. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are required for reporting and interactions with global counterparts. Knowledge in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, air-conditioning, and vehicle dynamics is necessary. German language skills are an added advantage.
