Key Responsibilities for this position
Overall responsibility for creation of new part numbers and part number maintenance in ERP system (Oracle).
Technical product description according to prior agreement with engineering / product management
Work with Regional Customer Care leaders in ANZ, Japan, Korea and SEAT to establish a robust process for remote part creation per the scope (creation for fully purchased items (ie items not requiring manufacturing BOM’s) such as Automation, Controls, Accessories or 3rd Party Buy-out items, for Rest of Asia. )
Part number creation in due time in cooperation with Supply Chain / Engineering / Product Management
Administration / Management of new item requests
Preparation and management of technical and price maintenance
Permanent optimization of process in use of IT tools
Support Sales and Customer Care department
Responsible to create and add/update data in Oracle system including other cross functional attributes as per global Isolation Valve standard
Ensure data in Oracle system is as aligned with global Isolation Valve standard through continuous monitoring and reporting
Work with reporting manager to identify opportunity for generating new ideas which can reduce lead time in creating, maintaining data in Oracle
Desired Educational Qualification
Degree in a business related field or equivalent experience
Technical Skills / Knowledge Required
Proficient with MS Office Tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
Effective communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Worked on Oracle will be an added advantage
Self starting and action oriented
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
Ability to comprehend technical details/technical literacy
Proficient in a variety of software programs including Oracle and Access
Fluent in English and local language.
"Bachelor’s degree with understanding about product, bill of materials, knowledge of materials of construction"
Proficiency with Oracle is mandatory and exposure to other ERP tools like SAP would be added advantage
