EcoStruxure Power Advisor is a proactive, analytics-based service, built on Schneider Electric’s exclusive patented technology, which ensures that the customer’s Power Management Software stays in-tune, providing accurate data they can count on. The advanced analytics engine also provides a detailed system-wide analysis identifying problematic power quality conditions that may cause equipment or reliability issues.

 

What will you do?

The Power Advisor engineer will employ their knowledge of electrical systems, power quality, data analytics and communications skills to:

  • Run data from the customers’ power monitoring software through the patented algorithm to analyze the status of electrical network
  • Use their expertise to interpret the data, identify areas of improvement and summarize relevant issues.
  • Deliver the reports detailing the system health and providing recommendations to correct and optimize the system
  • Lead remote consultations meetings to help customers understand the findings, provide explanations, and help customers prioritize actions to proactively address issues and keep their operations running smoothly.
  • Review the corrective actions to ensure issues are resolved and provide additional guidance as needed.  
  • Generate and follow up on potential sales leads. Work closely with our direct and indirect North America sales force to manage customer relationships and satisfaction.
  • Use our Customer Relationship Management tool (bFO) for data tracking purposes.

What qualifications will make you successful? 

  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Power Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Two years of experience researching and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data in a related field (Engineering, Business Operations, etc.) 
  • Two years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications in a work setting with strong knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Analytical abilities with proficiency working with data. Ability to process and interpret predictive/conditioned-based analysis data.
  • Excellent soft skills such as people-person, team player, interpersonal skills, leadership, presentation, and collaboration. Candidate must work effectively with teams throughout the organization 
  • Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to effectively manage time and remain organized across multiple activities, ability to prioritize tasks and deliverables to meet deadlines. 
  • Must demonstrate attention to detail, ability to self-audit to ensure accuracy and establish measures of quality control over work product 

 

Preferred 

  • Education and/or 2 years of experience in data mining, working with large data sets, and recommending innovative analytical solutions in the power and energy monitoring field
  • Knowledge of Power Quality and understanding of Power Quality standards
  • Experience working in energy management or power industry.
  • Understanding of digital metering systems
  • Experience working with customers. 
  • Experience with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred
  • Project management experience
  • CEM, CEA certifications a plus.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:   Associate degree (AA) in Electronics or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   LANGUAGE SKILLS:   Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information, procedure manuals and service protocols. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
