The Role: Marketing Manager for Services in Japan (Offer Category Manager)

We are looking for an experienced service offer category manager to lead new service offers and the development/execution of marketing strategy in Services Division in Japan. 

About

The service offer category manager mainly focus on launching new services including Digital Services to Japan market, adapting the value proposition as needed, and monitoring the success of the offers and the marketing plan. He/she also takes the lead in building and executing Go to Market and installed base data marketing strategies.

What will you do?

  • Lead the new service offer launch / pricing / lifecycle management.
  • Define the Go to Market / target account / channel and partnering strategies.
  • Leverage installed base data intelligence and generate business through sales campaigns.
  • Accountable for Sales & Operation performance.
  • Market research including competitive analysis and identify strengths and weaknesses.
  • Implement marketing excellence program (Digitization/Annual marketing report/ business intelligence etc.).
  • Working closely with Services sales team and other Business Divisions.


Qualifications

 

Who would be successful?

  • 4-year college degree or above.
  • At least 3 years of marketing experience in B2B business with solid marketing skills and price management.
  • Skills for Sales Force or other CRM is plus
  • Skills for building strategic, tactical, and operational plans.
  • Business development and sales experience is plus.
  • Electrical distribution industry, IoT, or digital services experience is plus.
  • Good understanding of data monetization, digitization, and its business applications
  • Strong leadership ability through direct or cross functional team 
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written in English and Japanese.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft office applications especially for Excel.
