This position requires the skill sets and experience to handle the complete engineering execution from IKOM till SAT and site handover. The scope of projects to be handled will involve Supply of DCS/Safety system, PLC/RTUs hardware engineering, software development, FAT, site commissioning and SAT.

This role will have travel to customer/End-User sites across India for meetings, commissioning activities and post commissioning issues if any.  

This position involves approx..25% travel however same shall vary based on business requirement.

Key points: 

Customer focus, Quality deliverables and teamwork

DCS/Safety System/PLC/RTU HW engineering and Software experience, Site commissioning and SAT experience

Should have led engineering execution of projects with minimum 3000 IOs. in earlier assignments

Should have worked with any of these key players in earlier assignments –EIL, Technip, Worley, ThyssenKrupp, Tecnimont, Tata Power, NTPC, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, RIL, Nirma, etc.,

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Proficiency on Foxboro DCS, Triconex Safety System, M580/Quantum/ M340 PLC System
  • Hands on knowledge to work on Foxboro Control Software, Control HMI, IACC, FoxDraw/FoxView, Wonderware System Platform/InTouch preferred
  • Other make DCS/Safety System/PLC experience (Yokogawa/Honeywell/ Emerson/Siemens/ABB/Rockwell/GE Fanuc) are also acceptable
  • Understand the customer RFQs and should be able to design the system architecture meeting the compliance.
  • Work experience on soft communication – Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RS485, Profibus, DNP3.0, Profinet, Ethernet IP
  • Knowledge of MCC & Field Instruments to hook-up with the Control/Safety/PLC system
  • Good analytical skills to understand customer inputs and Engineering Drawings is mandatory
  • FAT, Commissioning and SAT Experience is must
  • Good communication skills (English - must & Hindi - Preferred).
  • Convincing skills
  • Should be able to handle customer, consultants, and vendors in all phases of the project execution
     

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4 Years BE/BTech/Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentations and Control, Electronics and communication, Electronics and Electrical
  • Minimum of 8 to 12 Years of relevant experience.
  • PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power point.
  • Working experience in DCS / Safety System PLC/RTU HW engineering, Software development, FAT, Commissioning, SAT
  • Exposure to UPS, CCTV, GPS, VFD, MCC panels
