In one sentence

The Digital Media is responsible for supporting the distribution and servicing of digital assets, primarily localized assets, to broadcasters, cable companies, and streaming services located around the world. The position will be responsible for performing technical evaluation of media assets, dubs, proxies, subtitles and other processing actions to ensure the assets meet client specifications. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a post-production style environment that supports the worlds leading services and their supply chains.

What will your job look like?

•            Logging received assets per industry standard technician specifications

•            Perform quality control and technical evaluation assessments of the assets

•            Perform technical edits that correct issues that may have been introduced in the post-production process while maintaining the filmmakers creative intent

•            Encoding, transcoding, and other manipulation of the files as required

•            Work with subtitles, audio dubs and numerous localized assets

•            Maintain records in Juice’s internal content management system, ensuring that the information contained within is kept up to date with correct status

•            Interface with client and streaming platform systems to ensure on-time delivery of assets that adhere to outbound specifications

•            Troubleshoot novel issues that may arise, drawing on support from across the organization

•            Stay up to date with the latest technical standards and software tools

•            Liaise with operations contacts at other organizations

•            Provide on-call coverage as required during major television or film launches

All you need is...

•            Diploma or Degree in Film & TV, broadcast, post-production or equivalent work experience

•            2+ years industry related experience

•            Knowledge of subtitling and caption software (i.e. Mac Caption, Ooona, EZ Titles, etc)

•            Experience working with various media encoders and systems: Telestream Vantage, Episode, Adobe Premeire, Final Cut Pro, AVID Pro-Tools, Davinci Resolve

•            OTT, IPTV or VOD experience

•            Editing or Post-Production experience

•            Knowledge of Tape Libraries, Formats and File Storage Systems

•            Knowledge of Asset Management workflows

•            Knowledge of common metadata formats and schemas

•            Excellent teamwork, written and verbal communication

•            Strong independent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

•            Experience with collaborative project management and ticketing tools (i.e. Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, Smartsheet, ZenDesk, Jira)

•            Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite applications
