Senior Manager - Competition Intelligence

Responsibilities

·       Develop an excellent understanding of the Transformation Services and Intelligent Operations space and build domain expertise in team

·       Operationalize, streamline processes, and automate call out toll gates, manage multiple/ complex disparate projects through to completion

·       Build relationships with key stakeholders at a senior level (regularly targeted cadences), drive collaboration, and deliver quality and value add in a short span of time

·       Secondary research (analyst reports, databases, google research, etc. for competition analysis): Shift through and collate relevant information on Genpact competition

·       Primary Research/ Interviewing Genpact VP+ population and External experts: Interview senior G leaders and external experts to get inputs/ information on the competition

·       Analyze: Expertise in leveraging structured consulting engagement methods, including action-oriented project scoping, hypothesis-driven research, creative use of analysis methods to drive beyond the obvious, and report writing based on a fact-supported storyline leading to action; Develop insights by evaluating competition scenario leveraging competition benchmarking models; analyze data-sets internal sources to draw inferences and relevant business insights

·       Disseminate vertical and service line-wise win-loss analysis/ learnings and scale-up win/loss reviews to enhance attack & mitigate loss; govern and track actions across the sales cycle

·       Track: Ability to track competition dynamics on real-time basis and provide triggers/insights on competition displacement strategy

·       Create Corporate, Service line and Digital specific Battlecards

·       Deliverable: Develop well structured, storyline, MECE, top-down decks that are easy to consume for the senior executives to support critical decisions during deal situations

 

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications

·       MBA; Prior experience in Research and Consulting

·       Relevant work experience in strategic research and consulting

·       Working knowledge of analytical tools - SAS, PowerBI, Stat testing etc.

·       Good research and analytical skills: ability to analyze data sets (internal/ external data-sets) and reports (analyst reports, secondary research)

·       Primary research/ interviewing skills: Should have exposure to interviewing senior executives to get inputs/information that’s not-so-obvious

·       Business problem solving expertise to drive C-Level projects for strategic planning & sales/deal support

·       Flexible, diligent, motivated, reliable, and proactive personality with superior problem-solving skills

·       Develop an advisory relationship with senior leaders to understand their key issues and deliver related competition/market insights, Reporting to senior leadership and board on competition and business insights

·       Track competition for business model, strategy, outlook, periscope view of competitors to counter

·       Real time intel on deals and advise on competitor displacement strategy on key deals; Recommend best practices to drive improvement with supporting benchmarking data/analysis

·       Good interpersonal and communication skills: Work with senior leaders (VPs, SVPs) to seek input; multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications 

·       Good storyboarding and messaging skills to present findings at an executive level
