Job Summary:

Data Privacy Executive would be expected to work and oversee ongoing privacy activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of, and adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures, privacy governance, assessment, remediation, and classification and evaluating the data privacy practices of our stakeholders globally.

Expected Skills:

 Must be Law Graduate / Post Graduate

 Should have min. 4 year of experience out of which min. 2 years in data privacy.

 Knowledge and experience in information privacy laws and ability to apply the Privacy principles. 

 Communication, and presentation skills.

 Knowledge on cyber/information security concepts, risk and control concepts.

 Knowledge of regulation such as GDPR, Data Privacy Laws, HIPAA, etc.

 Should be able to differentiate between privacy/data protection and information security.

 Assisting stakeholders in privacy Governance.

 Good to have experience in GDPR implementation or assessment

Responsibilities:

 Assists in the identification, implementation, and maintenance of organization information privacy policies and procedures.

 Ensure full coordination and cooperation under the organization’s privacy policies and procedures and legal requirements.

 Work with organization senior management and corporate information security / Technology group to maintain Privacy Compliance.

 Work with Human resource to address org wide employee related privacy requirements. 

 Initiate and perform privacy risk assessments, Privacy Audits and conduct ongoing privacy compliance activities.

 Work with legal team to ensure contracts / agreements are appropriately addressed privacy requirements.

 Participates in the development, implementation, and ongoing compliance monitoring.

 Administers process for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating, and acting on all complaints concerning the organization’s privacy policies and procedures. 

 Initiates, facilitates and promotes activities to foster information privacy awareness within the organization and related entities.

 Good to have current knowledge of applicable US federal and US state privacy laws, Indian IT Act, GDPR, Etc.…

 Serves as information privacy consultant to the organization for all departments and appropriate entities.

 Work with organization administration, legal counsel, and other related parties to represent the organization’s information privacy interests with external parties.
