Indoor Testing Leads testing and validation of test components along with team of supervisors, as subset of Indoor testing, VATS- ERC.
The team is responsible for the physical validation of components, systems and vehicles for entire PV, CV and Defense Programs.
The domain encompasses all critical aggregates for Validation of Cab & Trims, Chassis & Suspension Systems, Brakes, Controls, Fuels, Exhaust & Steering Systems.
In this role, the Engineer Indoor Testing Mechanical is responsible for the following :
Job Responsibilities:
1. Leads a team of Supervisors.
2. Participate in DFMEA.
3. Interaction with COCs and Supplier for CTR discussions and ensuring signoff of CTR by all stakeholders.
4. Benchmarking of vehicles and components.5. Resource (Manpower and Equipment) planning for Project execution.
6. Outsourcing activities, if required.
7. Create test plan.
8. Witness testing.
9. Plan & En sure completing tests as per test plans.
10. Report generation & feedback to the respective project /Design group.
11. Record & main tain test data.
12. Execution of planned infrastructure capabilities.13. Testing process improvements based on national / international standards, best practices and learnings and capturing the same in respective document (WI/WG/TS).
14. Closure of assigned MiNT and CIB issues.
15. Prepare safety guidelines for activities in area of work
16. Create preventive maintenance guidelines
17. Innovation Management (IPR, Innovista etc.)
Functional/Technical Knowledge in Automotive Component and system testing
Vehicle systems DFMEA and Problem solving skills
Knowledge of Regulatory requirements and other national / international test standards
Knowledge of Instrumentation Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and Quality systems.
Education Qualification: Graduation / Post Graduation in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
Work Experience1 to 4 year
