Role Purpose: We are currently looking for an Associate (Senior Commercial Manager) to be based in the KSA office to work on a major programme. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting managers in achieving service excellence and positive outcomes for our clients; showing high levels of technical capability, sound commercial knowledge and a good understanding of the key drivers or cost and value; capturing and sharing knowledge and driving innovation in service. Successful candidates will be presented with a great opportunity for career progression whilst at the same time being exposed to cross sector experience. What this job involves: Provide support to Team Leaders, Service Leaders in the delivery of the project; carry day to day delivery responsibility and demonstrate the ability to take on tasks with minimal supervision. Assist in the coaching and development of subordinate team members in the delivery of service excellence. Deliver all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner. Utilize and embed JLL best practice tools and processes including the use of technology to support delivery. Be able to interpret a brief from a client or senior manager and convert into a delivery plan. Demonstrate the ability to take ownership of small / medium sized projects or significant components of larger Commercial/Cost Management assignments. Understand and comply with business risk and project delivery parameters including compliance in respect scopes of service agreed by others. Capture and share knowledge and be involved with the development of service improvement and innovation as part of the JLL way. Be a strong team player but demonstrate the ability to take a leadership role as part of personal development planning. Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner at all times Advise on the contract form and its amendments in line the Client’s requirements Ensure that contract documents and its components are aligned and in accordance with the Client’s requirements. Managing contractual / commercial queries and ensure that such queries are responded comprehensively and in a timely manner. Participate in the contractual / commercial assessment of the bidders’ proposals Manage the contractual / commercial post tender clarifications Participate, if required, in contractual / commercial negotiations with the bidders Compiling contract documents and its components and ensure that such documents are updated and in line with the agreed terms. Desired skills and experience for this: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Quantity Surveying or similar relevant field Minimum 10 years experience, preferably in mega projects, managing multi-million contracts Excellent knowledge of contracts and construction industry standards and practices and deep understanding of contracts governance, contractual language, and the contract lifecycle Highly developed attention to details and talents for accuracy and precision Excellent comprehension, writing, and language skills
